Getting Started

1. Create Your Account

Sign up with Google OAuth or email/password. Your data is securely stored and only accessible to you.

2. Build Your Pipeline

Two ways to add jobs:

  • Search & Import: Use the Job Search tab (Shift+J) to find roles. Smart filters automatically optimize queries like "junior developer in NZ" for you. For example, we prioritize true junior roles and hide obviously senior-only titles when you search for junior.
  • Manual Entry: Press C to manually add a job application if you found it elsewhere.

For your first session, aim to add 3–5 roles and move at least one into "Applied" so you immediately see progress.

3. Organize Your Pipeline

Drag job cards between columns as you progress through the interview process. Set priorities to focus on high-value opportunities.

Example flow: Interested → Applied → Interviewing → Offer

4. Schedule Interviews

Add interview dates and times to your jobs. Optionally sync with Google Calendar for seamless integration with your existing schedule.

Google Calendar Integration

Connect your Google Calendar to automatically sync interview events. This is optional but highly recommended for keeping your schedule organized.

How to Connect

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select "Connect Google Calendar" from the dropdown
  3. Grant calendar access permissions in the OAuth flow
  4. You're done! Future interview events will sync automatically

What Gets Synced

When you schedule an interview with "Sync to Google Calendar" enabled, we create a calendar event with the company name, position, and interview details. Updates to interviews are reflected in both systems.

We never create or modify non-Job Tracker events in your calendar. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your account settings.
